Terms of Service

1. What Shoplink is

Shoplink is a publishing tool. It lets sellers turn photos and captions into a public storefront page and routes buyers to the seller's WhatsApp. Shoplink is not a marketplace, payment processor, escrow service or delivery provider, and is not a party to any sale between a seller and a buyer.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. One shop link belongs to one seller; shop links are allocated on a first-come basis and must not impersonate another business.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, text and other content you upload. You grant Shoplink a licence to host, display, resize and process that content so we can render your storefront, generate listings and produce the promo visuals you request. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload.

4. Seller responsibilities

• List only goods you can lawfully sell and actually intend to supply.
• Keep prices, stock and product descriptions accurate and up to date.
• Handle your own orders, payments, delivery, returns and customer service.
• Comply with the consumer, tax and business laws that apply to you.

5. Prohibited use

You may not use Shoplink to list illegal, counterfeit, stolen, hazardous or age-restricted goods where prohibited; to post sexual, hateful, violent or deceptive content; to infringe intellectual property; to scam or spam buyers; or to attack, scrape or overload the service. We may remove content or suspend shops that breach these terms.

6. AI features

Listing extraction and promo generation are automated and can be wrong. Always review the generated title, price, stock and marketing copy before publishing. You remain responsible for what appears on your shop.

7. Buyers

Shop pages are public. When you contact a seller on WhatsApp you are dealing with that seller directly. Shoplink does not verify sellers, products, prices or availability, and does not hold funds. Take normal precautions before paying anyone.

8. Availability

We aim to keep Shoplink online but the service is provided "as is" and may change, be interrupted, or have features added or removed. Free features may be limited or discontinued.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shoplink is not liable for lost profits, lost sales, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service or from any transaction between a seller and a buyer.

10. Termination

You may stop using Shoplink and request deletion of your shop at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or create risk for other users.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your own country.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions? Email hello@shoplink.page.
